You guys that use hypo points -- where do you get them? What is the actual length? I'm wanting to get some longer points and would like some info on what's available besides the standard lengths

Atlanta Darts has them, that is the manufacturer..can get 'em in fixed or Powerpoint.

wwwDOTatlantadartsDOTcom..think they're $10 a set and it will list the lengths there but you can always cut them down if you need to

Bad is correct it's atlanta darts that make the points, pricing varies, haven't ordered any since, Jim Boan passed away.

    Just haven't needed any yet.

I will say , I love the points, deflections that barely stick in the board, always seem to grab just enough 2 score alot of times, but you hit a wire with any point & it's going to bounce. Only points I can remember that they used that would peel apart into 2 scoring wedges were, I want to say grafite or something like that. & Accudarts made them many years back, remember Peter Mills shot these points, was a major issue with them.

Srry if this wasn't the right place 2 post this.

    I love hypos.

I use the shortest ones I can get.

Atlanta Darts or the Dart Guys is where I get them.

(Joe Slivan tossed a T18 and a T4 with one dart when I played against him at the Music City Classic one year. He said that they were graphite points. He told me that the ruling was that he got the T18. I told him that he was full of crap because there was no way that he could possibly find a written rule about a split point, BUT I didn't care if he score the 54 and the 12, because I thought it was really cool!)

ADO Had made a ruling on it being the bigger section of the point sticking in the board, was what would count as being thrown.so if 1/3 was in the trip 18 & 2/3rds was in the triple 4, it would count as the triple 4......

Sure were crazy points, I still have a few running around in my collection of stuff.

Those were the Accudart Penetrator darts, carbon fiber points. I have a set of them myself.
