In the Corbett Division: TriBull is postponing thier match VS. Triple Threat till Thursday 6/24. 3 players are playing in state finals. We would like to congratulate ALL the south shore teams making states. . . Let's sweep!!!!!!

In other news, Super Villains have changed venues with the Boondock Saints out of respect for the Super A and A finals being at the Polish Club. We will be traveling to O'Toole's this Tuesday and welcoming them in week 7.

Looking forward to playing some darts at the old Liberty..The weird thing is I first shot there in 1977 after a softball game when the Cifelli's owned it..My best memory of the Liberty was one weekend night in the fall of 95 the late Ted Steeves and I went there after a tournament in Leominster, We got there about 11:00 just in time to see Kevin Stevens brand new Jag have a 50 pound rock put threw his windshield..  No, neither one of us did it, just some mad husband.. He was traded to the "Left Coast" right after that..

Well the Beach Bums pulled one out last night winning 6-5 over the McCrackins. it was a good night that saw some great match ups and some big finishes from both sides...season is shaping up to be alot of fun. Can't wait until next weeks match already. Great time at the Lib...

FPK!!! FPK!!! and thats what it was.. Two matches aganist D-Wreck game winning dart in hand both times and all I could do was stand there and watch a 3 dart finish in 601 and 3 dart Cricket finish..Nice darts you hammer, then get beat by Ric "the american power" Cigs in 3 games with the match at 4-4 ..  FPK!! FPK!!!...

thanks Paul....FPK!!!!!!! The cricket game was good...When I hit T15 then 2 bulls I thought it was good to go..then watching Mike hit 4 bulls i was a bit sceptical...but finishing T15, Bull with one left in hand was good....but you guys were in that game and made it a tough one in the end...Good to hang last night with all the boys...

Oh absolutely! Everyone played AWESOME and it was great to see a night where everyone performed. It was also a great thing to see Tony Darosa who joined up with the 3rd Rail. He played very well in all three events and didn't make it easy on us. In fact he stepped up and nullified my Round of Nine by laying the hammer down on corks. |

Hahaha, you guys ain't sandbaggers! Just Mr. E player Fred P. is.
Anyway, it was my brother Kev Jr and myself who lost our cricket. I hit the Ro9 out of desperation but Tony Darosa pounded on the corks. Looks like the last team that played these guys beat 'em 9-2. I can see most the other teams beating this team up like that but with the addition of Tony Darosa, I bet the 3rd rail steals some points from a few teams and has some good nights. |

well, that sucks your RO9 didnt win it, but i'm sure U'll get many more of them in the future. good luck this season

Yeah they played Buck A Ton week 1 who is a good team. Plus, correct me if I am wrong, were they shorthanded vs you guys Jamie? Thought I heard that last night. My friend's team played them a couple years ago and they had problems getting a full team together then as well, too bad b/c they don't have a terrible team with what they do bring.
And, lest I forget, how did my man Vince shoot?

I shot the first 601, chalked the 2nd, and was off to the Super A match but I believe we got swept in the crickets..came back to tie at 5 and lost the last game. Fun to go back home to where my league career first began, but the setup isn't great with you standing at the corner of the bar to shoot when it's a busy night.

Yup they were shorthanded. If Tony hadn't joined up with 'em they'd have had 4. Can't wait to face Buck a Ton tomorrow night. They look like the team to beat for us. Another thing Chris, don't bother taking him off the roster cause it's not even worth it but we found out Sam Roebuck has no interest in playing this Summer. He basically wouldn't want to play against weaker players, he only wants to play his level or higher. Can't blame him for that!
About Vinny... He has been throwing the best darts I've ever seen him throw. He's definitely on the upswing and I think he is just letting the darts flow which is working good for him. Hope he continues with this pace cause he's developing into a great player once again. It's starting to show. We'll see how he does next week against a solid team. |

Nice to hear Vince is coming around. When he first picked them back up last season I would see flashes of it here and there but nothing steady. I told him then he should try to find a team in a lower division where there would be less pressure on him than B and he could find his darts again..plus I got him on the Tom Sawyer darts that he's using now.
